Indians rocks every where. May be you are not aware that most of the E-Giants has been backed by the indian minds for example Sundar Pichai for Google, Satya Nadella for  Microsoft, Shantanu Narayen for Adobe, Francisco D’Souza for Cognizant. These are some name who have been rocking world. Now an Indian origin scientist grab the "Oscars Of Science"

Indian-American physicist Surjeet Rajendran has break it to current year's Breakthrough Foundation Prizes, as known as the "Oscar award of Science". The honors were given by Breakthrough Foundation in a function held at NASA Ames Research Center in Mountain View, California.

Surjeet Rajendran won the honor for spearheading an extensive variety of new exploratory tests of major material science.

Rajendran is an associate teacher of material science at UC Berkeley. He have been honour with  $100,000 prize along with two other scientists Asimina Arvanitaki (Perimeter Institute, Ontario), and Peter W. Graham (Stanford University). He is one of the ten "early career" analysts comprising of researchers and mathematicians, chosen for the 2017 New Horizons Prize worth $600,000. "Science is fantastic – without it, I would not be unassuming," he said in his acknowledgment comments.

Rajendran has expansive interests in theoretical material science with a solid concentrate on physics beyond the standard model. His site expresses that he is "interested in inventing new experimental avenues to help answer these questions and discover new physics. While the standard model of particle physics has repeatedly withstood many experimental tests, it leaves many questions unanswered.”

He, alongside David Kaplan and Peter Graham, distributed a paper in 2015 speculating the order amongst gravity and the crucial powers at the season of unstable birth of the universe.

Taking after his graduation from Caltech in 2004, Surjeet Rajendran went ahead to finish his PhD in Physics from Stanford University in 2009. He was likewise the Madansky postdoctoral individual at John Hopkins University and is right now the Henry Shenker Professor of Physics at UC-Berkeley.

The Breakthrough Foundation established by Sergey Brin of Google; Anne Wojcicki of 23andMe; Jack Ma of Alibaba and his better half, Cathy Zhang; Yuri Milner, a web business person, and his significant other, Julia Milner; and Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook and his better half, Priscilla Chan. It was Yuri Milner's choice to perceive and recognize nine physicists in 2012 for their work and to pay them  on the grounds that they merited it. The classifications were then expanded to incorporate life sciences and arithmetic. Every year's victors are chosen by a board involving the past champs.

Rajendran is the fifth Indian-origin researcher to win this prestigious honor since its origin in 2012. Past victors are Saurabh Jha (2015), Shiraz Naval Minwalla (2014) Tejinder Singh Virdee (2013), and Ashoke Sen (2012).
