Candle March by AIMIM, Demanding probe CBI to find Missing Najeeb

New Delhi: All India Majlis-eIttehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) Okhla Constituency Delhi organized a Grand Silent Candle March in protest on Bhopal Encounter demanding Supreme Court Inquiry and finding missing JNU student Najeeb Ahmed Okhla Constituency, New Delhi. The march was carried on at 7:00 PM from Zakir Nagar Dhalan to Okhla Head in leadership of AIMIM Delhi President Janab Irfanullah Khan Saab and entire Delhi AIMIM team raised their voice for Justice. Questioned were raised on Madhya Pradesh Government over the encounter killing of eight undertrails who were prisoners in Bhopal Central Jail and one HC Ramkrishan Yadav, the security guard also lost his life. AIMIM President Delhi State Janab Irfanullah Khan said that “we insist on what our Party President Br. Asaduddin Owaisi said and demand for a Supreme Court inquiry into the jail break and the encounter”. Killing suspects and undertrials in encounter will not help the cause of justice. Let Supreme Court intervene and find the authenticity of the encounter. In case if people are killed in judicial custody then guilty must be fined with death penalty. Further, there is discrepancy amid the statements issued by the Home Minister, ATS chief and the Police officials.

He said we also insist to find the missing JNU student Najeeb Ahmed, it has been a complete one month now. The matter has been transferred from South District to Delhi Police’s Crime Branch after Najeeb’s mother requested Home Minister for a CBI probe. The SIT which was formed last month failed to get any clues on the missing student. AIMIM President Irfanullah Khan said “we demand CBI to find the missing student so that his family is at peace in the end”. Whole Delhi AIMIM team from all constituencies participated in the Silent Candle March with black tapes on their mouth and did not utter a single slogan; there was a grave silence throughout the march.
Afzal Khan Afridi, AIMIM President Ward 205 said “I believe that Supreme Court inquiry will be best in Bhopal Encounter case”. He further added that nation is facing “economical surgical strike with ban on legal tender of old 500 and 1000 currency notes at this moment but at the same time sensitive issues like people being killed in judicial custody irrespective of the fact they were involved in illegal activities itself raises questions our judiciary system, shows that we have no faith in our courts. Above all no clue has been found on missing JNU student Najeeb Ahmed, these issues cannot be overlooked at the same time. They touch a common man’s life in a great way.” He said though there has been a great delay in police action to find Najeeb but he hopes that Delhi Police’s crime branch succeeds in finding missing Najeeb Ahmed but said we probe CBI to take up the case ahead.
